The 46RH Transmission, also known as a 518/A518 is a 4 speed automatic transmission developed by Chrysler. It is the hydraulic version of the 46RE, and uses a mechanical governor and the throttle valve. The transmission was adapted to become a 4 speed transmission by including an overdrive assembly within what would normally be an extension or tail housing.
