Location:

Salem, NH

The Process Engineer will analyze existing manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and design and implement new processes to increase productivity and reduce waste. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve process-related issues and provide training and support to production teams to ensure successful implementation of new processes.

Job Description:

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement
• Design and implement new processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve process-related issues
• Monitor process adherence continuously on the shop floor and provide guidance to employees to ensure appropriate use of Kanban cards, single piece flow, pick tickets, and inventory transactions
• Provide training and support to production teams to ensure successful implementation of new processes

Required Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in process modeling and simulation software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience in Lean Manufacturing
• Experience in the automotive industry

Schedule:

8 hour shift – Day shift – Monday to Friday, with some overtime required.

Salary:

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
